Little Tybee, Adron, Pree @ The Earl

"Little Tybee is a 6 piece band based in Atlanta, GA whose music has been described and genre bending and refreshing to both veteran and exploring ears. The core of each of their songs begins in the relentless and creative mind of vocalist/guitarist/pianist Brock Scott. The songs mature through the dedicated musicianship of 8-string guitarist Josh Martin, violinist Nirvana Kelly, bassist Ryan Donald, keyboardist Chris Case, and percussionist Pat Brooks. Little Tybee isn’t afraid to experiment freely, even dangerously at times, to follow a musical idea to its ultimate end. // Adron, named Best Songwriter of 2012 by Atlanta's Creative Loafing, is rapidly being recognized as one of the most uniquely gifted songwriters and vocalists of this generation. Her music seamlessly blends Classical harmony with the playfulness of ‘60s Brazilian Tropicàlia, the earnestness and sentiment of songwriters like Joni Mitchell and Harry Nilsson, and the cerebral sincerity of the hymn song. In 2011, her newest album Organismo was voted by Atlanta’s Creative Loafing magazine as #1 Album of the Year."

P. Seth Thompson: This Message Has No Content @ Sandler Hudson Gallery

"Sandler Hudson Gallery is pleased to present, This Message Has No Content, a solo exhibition of newly represented Atlanta-based visual artist, P. Seth Thompson. With influences ranging from quantum physics to 80’s cinema, P. Seth Thompson considers the role of image in the creation of selfhood. Thompson’s photographic work combines original and found imagery to reveal a “cosmic aesthetic” that underscores the tension between reality and fantasy in the digital era. The artist highlights the slippery identity formed, mediated, and constantly compromised by a barrage of media."
